Crusades
This is the wing of CIAPE that organises crusades both in towns and rural areas to impact lives for the Lord. The crusades are not meant to plant churches as we are a non-denominational ministry. Members of CIAPE that the Lord has been using to run the ministry are from different denominational backgrounds.
CIAPE started and operated for more than 15 years before the ministry was formally incorporated with the Corporate Affair Commission of Nigeria in 2017. Within this time frame, the ministry has organised several crusades in towns and rural areas of over 90% of local government areas of both Zone A and B senatorial districts and a few local governments in Zone C in Benue State. Several lives have been impacted through these open-air crusades with many testimonies to God’s glory.
CIAPE been a non-denominational ministry does not plant churches but partners with local churches to propagate God’s word. In every community where crusade is organised, we normally work in conjunction with the leadership of the Christian body in the host community. Our team do partner with local Christian brethren to form local organising committee for each crusade. Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria local chapters have been our strong partners on this.
During crusades which typically lasts 2 – 4 days, we do open-air meetings usually in the evenings where altar calls are often made. We have seen hundreds surrendered to God in single meetings. Our modus operandi based on conviction has been to counsel people who surrender to God and hand over their contacts to the local brethren to follow them up. We have continued to trust the Lord that as the Lord uses us to plant, he will also raise Apollos to water the plant to grow to God’s glory.
Also, during crusades, besides open-air preaching, we do organise teachings for pastors and church workers to strengthen and equip them for the work of the Lord. Another important spiritual task we do during crusades has been to deploy our members to various local churches where often they minister God’s word.
There is no fixed timetable for the crusades as we organise these crusades as the Lord leads. However, based on what the Lord has helped us to achieve so far, it has been at least five crusades per year.
