Christ in all People Evangelical (CIAPE) ministry

Several years after we started rural and urban crusades, the Lord opened our eyes to also see the medical needs of the people especially those in the rural areas. We noticed that some of the locations where we carried out rural crusades had very limited access to basic health services. Following the observation, we became convinced that God was leading us to intervene in the area to bring a wholistic ministration to the people. This gave birth to the idea of medical outreach which provides an avenue for CIAPE to minister to the medical and spiritual needs of those in dire need.

The medical team is made of several medical professionals from diverse areas of specializations including surgeons, paediatricians, pharmacists, nurses, physicians and supporting staff from non-medical backgrounds. It is worth knowing that God raised the team by himself as these professionals are purely volunteers with full time work in different sectors of economy. They do not get paid for the great services they are doing. Membership of the team has continued to increase since we started.

To execute a medical outreach that involves surgical operations, surgical tools are needed and CIAPE does not have such tools for now. However, the Lord has continued to prove himself since the vision was birthed. Each year, we do get a loan of sufficient surgical equipment from Peace House Medical Center Gboko, Benue State, Nigeria. We are grateful to the Livingseed Ministry that runs the medical center.

Since the first medical outreach in year 2014, we have continued to have one medical outreach per year except in 2020 when due to COVID-19 pandemic, we were compelled to cancel the event. So far, we have had the medical outreach in eight different locations across three different local government areas in Benue State.
